Nils Rahlf is a partner in the corporate practice. He advises strategic and financial investors on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate law matters.
With more than 25 years of experience, Nils regularly represents multinational corporations, private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, growth-stage businesses, and founders in complex transactions across a range of industries. His practice has a focus on the media and entertainment (in particular video games), technology, life sciences, and consumer sectors.
Nils is recognized for leading sophisticated cross-border transactions and coordinating multi-jurisdictional deal teams. He advises clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, from strategic planning and structuring through negotiation, execution, and post-closing integration. His experience includes public and private M&A transactions, growth investments, disposals, carve-outs, and shareholder and governance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Nils held leadership roles as the head of the German corporate and M&A practice and the EMEA Media and Entertainment practice of a leading international law firm.
