Patrick J. Riley

Patrick Riley is an associate and a member of the Commercial Disputes practice group. Patrick’s practice includes a wide variety of complex civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, healthcare litigation, mass torts, and products liability actions. Patrick has experience representing clients through all stages of litigation and arbitration. 

Patrick focuses a significant portion of his practice on healthcare-related disputes. He represents healthcare providers in reimbursement and contractual disputes involving commercial payors, Medicare Advantage organizations, and pharmacy benefit managers. His experience includes disputes involving reimbursement, provider agreements, coverage determinations, and pharmacy benefit manager practices.

Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was an associate at a New Jersey-based boutique healthcare law firm, where he was part of the life sciences litigation practice group. Through this role, Patrick represented a variety of healthcare provider clients in contract and reimbursement disputes in both arbitration and federal court. Patrick also assisted with filing complaints related to pharmacy benefit manager misconduct with government agencies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Federal Trade Commission.

During law school, Patrick served as a student attorney at the Health Justice Clinic, advocating for low-income veterans seeking to upgrade their military discharge status. Patrick also served as a law clerk for a New Jersey boutique civil litigation firm where he worked on a variety of civil litigation matters, as well as interning at the Queens County District Attorney's Office.
