Stacy Ackermann is admitted to practice in North Carolina. She is not admitted to practice in New York.

Stacy Ackermann is the Global Managing Partner of K&L Gates LLP.  She is a partner in the firm’s global finance practice and her individual practice includes representing lenders, servicers, investors, and other market participants in a wide range of sophisticated financial and credit market transactions, with a focus on structured finance.

Stacy joined the firm in 2012 and has held key leadership roles, including serving on the firm’s Management Committee for two terms before assuming the role of Global Managing Partner in 2025. She is a frequent speaker on industry issues and serves on the Mortgage Bankers Association’s COMBOG, is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and chaired the CREFC Servicer’s Forum.

Prior to joining the firm, Stacy was a partner at another law firm in Charlotte.
