Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sydney served as a summer associate in the Newark office where she performed research and prepared legal memoranda regarding a variety of legal issues, including insurance recovery, environmental law, and products liability. Sydney returned to the firm during her final year of law school as a law clerk, where she assisted with insurance recovery, specifically healthcare payor-provider disputes.
During law school, Sydney interned with a New Jersey Superior Court judge and served as a law clerk to a New Jersey law firm where she worked on a wide variety of civil litigation matters, ranging from family law to property-related disputes.
At Seton Hall University School of Law, Sydney was the president of the First Generation Law Students Association, a member of the FINRA Investor Advocacy Clinic, and a pro bono student advocate for the District of New Jersey Settlement Conference Practicum. Sydney also served as a comments editor for the Seton Hall Law Review.
Prior to law school, Sydney was a legal secretary for a solo practitioner, where she worked on residential real estate transactions and estate planning matters.
