Xin April Liu

April Liu is an associate and a member of the Capital Markets practice group. April gained experience as an associate at a Hong Kong firm where she drafted offering circulars and transaction documents in bond issuance cases and negotiated and drafted transaction documents in venture capital, private equity investment, and some banking cases. She has been involved in over 160 debt capital markets transactions, including debt issuances, exchange offers, consent solicitation, open market repurchase, and cancellation of debt. She has experience drafting offering circulars and transaction documents, assisting underwriters on management and financial due diligence, and reviewing legal opinions and comfort letters. 

Additionally, April has represented issuers including financial institutions, local government financing vehicles, real estate companies and private companies. She has led bond offerings in different clearing house with different structures including direct issue, guaranteed bonds, bonds with standby letter of credit, and bonds with keepwell deed.
