Yang Cora Cheng

Cora Yang Cheng is a trainee solicitor. Prior to joining the firm, Cora gained experience through summer internships with several international law firms in Hong Kong. During these roles, she conducted legal research relating to aviation law, data privacy, and personal injury matters, assisted with mergers and acquisitions document reviews, and drafted legal documentation. As a dispute resolution intern, she prepared written opinions and pre-action correspondence, reviewed medical evidence for personal injury claims, and conducted research on healthcare, commercial disputes, and school negligence matters. She also attended court hearings and mediations and assisted with meeting preparation and note-taking.

Additionally, Cora previously interned with an international commerical law firm, where she supported international arbitration matters by conducting research on issues including state immunity, third-party funding, conflict of laws, and parallel arbitration proceedings. She also assisted with drafting and reviewing pleadings and translated legal documents, factual exhibits, and legal opinions.
