Hank Lee is a patent agent and a member of the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution and portfolio development across a range of technologies, including secondary batteries, automotive and mobility technologies, electronics and semiconductor technologies, telecommunications, software, internet services, and artificial intelligence.
Hank is also a Korean patent attorney. Before beginning his US patent practice, he served as an in-house patent attorney at a leading Korean internet and technology company, where he developed patent portfolios relating to internet services, online advertising, and e-commerce. Earlier in his career, he handled telecommunications and electronics patent matters before the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
Having worked in patent practice in both the United States and Korea, Hank understands the legal, technical, and cultural considerations involved in representing Korean businesses in the United States. He draws on his experience as both outside and in-house patent counsel to help clients develop practical patent strategies tailored to their technologies and business objectives.
