UK Employment Webinar Series 2015 - September

KL Gates Hosted Event
Date: 30 September 2015

We recently held the eighth in a series of monthly Employment Law webinars. As well as the usual round-up of the summers key developments, this webinar featured cases dealing with:

  • When an employer can refuse to comply with a data protection subject access request on the grounds of proportionality;
  • The rights of agency workers to be considered for permanent vacancies;
  • The dismissal of an employee for comments made on Facebook; and
  • The Court of Appeal’s decision to require a US employer to sue a former employee in the UK, despite the inclusion of a Massachusetts jurisdiction clause.
