Duc T. Nguyen

Duc Nguyen is a partner in the firm’s global Finance practice. Duc’s practice focuses on corporate and international finance, especially in the areas of structured finance, asset-based lending, real estate finance, acquisition finance and securitization. He regularly assists financiers and financial investors in all aspects of asset financing and leasing including portfolio financing, portfolio trading, sale and leasebacks, tax leases, finance leases and JOLCOs. He also has extensive experience of restructurings, asset repossession, distressed transactions and dispute resolution.

He has been regularly recognized by Chambers and Partners and other legal directories. According to Chambers Asia-Pacific, Duc has been described by his peers as “committed to his clients”, “experienced, capable and professional."

Duc graduated from the University of Law of England and Wales. He is qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and as a Lawyer of the Vietnam Bar Federation. He has been with a Magic Circle firm for ten years, during which time he worked in London, Bangkok and Singapore. Prior to joining the firm, Duc was an Of Counsel of a Silver Circle firm. Duc has also worked for the industry leader GE Capital Aviation Services Limited.
