COVID-19: (Australia) Further Changes To JobKeeper: What Do Employers Need To Know Now?

On 1 September 2020, the Coronavirus Economic Response Package (JobKeeper Payments) Amendment Bill 2020 was passed by Federal Parliament, which has resulted in further changes to the JobKeeper Payment scheme including changes to the flexibility provisions under Part 6-4C of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (FW Act). This new legislation has unofficially been dubbed Jobkeeper 2.0. 

Whilst a number of provisions currently in force remain unchanged, we table below the key changes that take effect from 28 September 2020.
