Cooper Hawley is admitted to practice in New York; he is not currently admitted in South Carolina.
Cooper Hawley is a corporate associate in the Charleston office of K&L Gates. He is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice group and also has experience representing clients in financing and restructuring matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Cooper was a corporate associate in the finance group of an international law firm headquartered in New York. His practice focused on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, credit funds, investor consortiums and other private and public companies in a wide variety of financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, debt investments and restructurings.
Cooper also previously worked as an attorney for the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C.
