Janae D. Camacho

Janae Camacho is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice group.

Janae was previously a law clerk and a 2L summer associate at the firm, where she drafted, reviewed, and revised Statements of Work (SOWs) and SOW amendments for clients in the technology transaction practice group, she also researched and drafted memoranda for technology transactions concerning copyright, trademark, and patent claims and various California vehicle environmental regulations. Additionally, Janae was a student attorney for a Washington-based university low income tax clinic, where she assisted individuals with federal tax concerns.

Prior to joining the firm, Janae served as a 1L corporate summer associate for a law firm based in Houston, where she drafted, reviewed, and revised organizational formation documents. She also researched and drafted memoranda concerning contractual enforcement and trademark expansion. Furthermore, while summering Janae worked on pro bono projects that helped prior incarcerated individuals to obtain record expungements.

Before attending law school, Janae was a member of the United States Army and worked in a supervisory role in the medical field.
