Jennifer McCoy is an associate in the firm's Boston office. She is a member of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice group.
Jennifer focuses her practice on advising investment advisers of registered funds, private funds, and other financial services providers. She counsels clients on various legal and regulatory matters, including derivatives documentation, CFTC and broker-dealer compliance matters, and drafting and reviewing documentation for the formation, organization, and ongoing operations of registered and unregistered funds.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer served as a legal intern for an investment management firm in Boston. Through this role, Jennifer compiled and presented DOJ and SEC updates in antitrust law in investment management industry to the global legal team.
Jennifer researched and organized information for Latin American, South American, and Caribbean marketing restrictions for UCITS funds in terms of internet restrictions, disclosures, and marketing to the public. She also researched the pros and cons of Uruguay's tax-free zones.
