K&L Gates Expands Finance Practice With Two Charlotte Additions

Charlotte – Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Sean Corcoran and Scott Rudd as of counsel lawyers in the firm’s Finance practice. Corcoran joins the firm from Alston & Bird and Rudd joins from Mayer Brown.

Corcoran leverages more than two decades of experience in financial services and real estate finance representing clients across a variety of commercial real estate lending and servicing transactions. He represents financial institutions and servicers in all aspects of securitization, servicing and commercial real estate finance including defaulted loans, assumptions, modifications, cash management and leasing. His practice also includes counseling parties to commercial mortgage-backed securities trust termination and asset purchases.

Rudd’s practice centers around representing financial institutions and servicers in the origination and servicing of commercial mortgage loans. In his decades long practice, Rudd has developed deep experience in commercial mortgage loan origination, servicing, and securitization transactions.  His background spans both transactional work and complex default matters, positioning him to serve institutional lender clients across diverse asset classes nationwide.
