K&L Gates Strengthens Finance Practice With London Hire
London – Global law firm K&L Gates welcomes Gareth McCarter as a partner in its London office. He joins the firm’s Finance practice from Taylor Wessing LLP. McCarter focuses his practice on the complex and highly structured financings of commercial real estate investments and developments internationally. Particular areas of focus include the financing of international real estate assets, operational real estate including hotels, senior living, and student accommodation, senior/mezzanine structures, and preferred equity lending. McCarter has extensive experience representing UK, European, and US financial institutions, insurers and debt funds, as well as investors and sponsors.
