Katherine Rippey is an associate in the firm’s Nashville office and is a member of the Health Care and FDA practice group. Katherine provides regulatory, compliance, and transaction advice to a broad range of health care clients including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, behavioral health care providers, and private equity health care investors, among others. She focuses her practice on federal and state fraud and abuse matters, including Stark and anti-kickback laws, False Claims Act, and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment and revalidation, as well as health care transactional and certificate of need matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Katherine served as an associate at a U.S. law firm where she assisted health care organizations with regulatory compliance and operational matters, particularly within the context of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. During law school, Katherine served as a judicial intern for Hon. Max O. Cogburn, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
