Taiwan plays a pivotal role in global supply chains and market development. As the United States pursues greater economic resilience and sustainable energy development, Taiwanese businesses are deepening their strategic footprint across diverse sectors in the United States market. This expanding partnership reflects not only commercial opportunities but also the broader alignment of Taiwan US priorities in fostering innovation and building a more resilient global economy. Meanwhile, Taiwanese companies face increasing complexity from heightened investment screening mechanisms, and evolving US legal and policy requirements.

Together with Invest USA Committee, a platform launched by American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), our lawyers will be presenting on the evolving regulatory landscape shaping Taiwan’s investment in the United States. The session will feature K&L Gates lawyers from Taipei, Shanghai, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.

This seminar will explore:

  • US site location strategies;
  • Considerations for starting and operating a business in the US;
  • Contract Strategies to mitigate US policy changes; and
  • Navigating the complexities of US tax issues.

Each session will include Q&A and we also welcome questions submitted in the RSVP form ahead of the seminar.

The seminar will be followed by a reception with drinks and dinner.

Please register by Friday, 12 September. A confirmation email will be sent upon acceptance. Registration will close once the capacity is reached.
