Sydney E. Lopes

Sydney Lopes is an associate in the firm’s Seattle office. She is a member of the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice area. In her pro bono practice, Sydney volunteers for the Cyber Civil Rights Legal Project (CCRLP) to help victims of nonconsensual pornography fight back against cyber harassment and reclaim their online identities. Sydney also volunteers with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) to provide legal assistance to immigrant and refugee children fleeing pervasive trafficking and gang violence.

Sydney was previously a summer associate in the firm’s Seattle office. During this time she observed client pitches, client calls, depositions, negotiations, oral argument preparation, pre-trial hearings, and mediations. Sydney also researched client issues and drafted memos for the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety and Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups.

Prior to joining the firm, Sydney served as a law clerk for the Washington State Solicitor General’s Office and as a judicial extern to the Honorable James L. Robart of the Western District of Washington.
