Sydney Lopes is an associate in the firm's Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice. She advises both private and public sector clients on a wide variety of employment matters including terminations, reductions in force, disciplinary actions, and employee handbook policies. Sydney also assists clients in investigating and responding to EEOC charges and Title IX complaints. Her practical guidance helps organizations maintain compliance and foster positive workplace environments. Additionally, Sydney has worked on numerous single-plaintiff and class action litigation matters, involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Sydney also has an active labor practice, assisting clients with labor negotiations, arbitrations, grievances, and NLRB charges.
Sydney also provides pro bono assistance to non-profit organizations on various employment matters, as well as organizations committed to protecting voting access and civil rights.
