World Autism Month: Neurodiversity and Accessibility

In honor of World Autism Month in April, K&L Gates hosted an in-depth discussion on neurodiversity and accessibility with Haley Moss, a lawyer, author, frequent speaker, and a recognized leader in neurodiversity, and Craig E. Leen, Washington, D.C., partner in our Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice and former director of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, U.S. Department of Labor.

Among the areas to be addressed include recent trends regarding neurodiversity in the workplace and approaches to providing support and accommodations. We will also review the importance of accessibility and including disability as a focus so that individuals with disabilities feel included in the workplace.
