Australia: Tax Future Under a New Liberal Government

A new Federal Liberal Government spells a change in direction for Australia's tax policy settings.

Most notable changes include the abolition of the Carbon Tax and the Mining Tax by the new Abbott Government.

Finally a much anticipated reduction in the company tax rate and the introduction of the paid parental leave funded by a levy on large corporates.
