Garrett W. Peery

Garrett Peery is an associate in the firm's Real Estate practice.  He represents clients on a range of commercial real estate transactions, including financings, acquisitions, leasing, and development projects. 

In the renewable energy sector, Garrett regularly represents both landowners and developers in connection with large scale wind and solar developments. Garrett has worked on renewable projects all over United States and has significant experience in negotiating ground leases associated with pacific northwest ridgeline developments. He has also supported clients in the development of data center campuses and in connection with battery storage facilities.

Garrett routinely assists clients in the negotiation and evaluation of complex real estate acquisitions and ground lease transactions including in the agribusiness, office, and retail sectors. He has significant experience representing anchor retail operators in greenfield development, urban redevelopment, and day-to-day real estate operations.

Garrett also represents borrowers and institutional lenders in commercial real estate financings across a variety of asset classes, including office, student-living, retail, and multifamily. 

Prior to joining the firm, he served as an associate at a San Antonio law firm, where he managed numerous concurrent loans, leases, acquisitions, and dispositions. Garrett conducted title reviews; drafted and revised all manner of real estate documents; and provided service to clients with retail, multi-family, and industrial portfolios. He has worked on various multimillion-dollar deals, including asset purchases and secured loans.
