Joby Celoza is an associate in the firm’s Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice. Prior to joining the firm, Joby served as a litigation associate at a Seattle law firm, gaining significant experience handling civil enforcement actions and breach of contract claims. Joby conducted initial investigations and drafted legal pleadings, as well as a variety of substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, motions to compel arbitration, oppositions to class certification, emergency motions for temporary restraining orders, and oppositions to motions to remand.
Joby’s primary areas of experience include California and Washington consumer class action defense, antitrust, California employment class action defense, enforcement prosecution, and commercial and consumer arbitrations.
Joby also has experience with pro bono representation, including LGBTQ+ asylum representation and prisoner rights litigation.
