Luca Paesetti is an associate in the firm’s Asset Management and Investment Funds practice. He primarily focuses on financial markets law, with particular regard to asset management, investment services, and payment services.
He has developed experience in advising Italian and international financial intermediaries in the context of authorisation procedures (initial authorisation, extension of business activities and cross border operativity), in dealings with Supervisory Authorities, also performing corporate secretarial functions and for the drafting of documentation relating to the offering of services and the marketing of financial products. He further advises asset managers, investment firms, and advisory companies on corporate governance, compliance matters, internal policies and procedures, as well as on outsourcing arrangements, anti money laundering and ESG related issues.
His knowledge also extends to legal and regulatory advice in the fintech sector, as Luca assists banks, payment institutions, and electronic money institutions in the development and compliant implementation in Italy of innovative solutions for the provision of regulated services.
