Scott Coward is an of counsel and a member of the Capital Markets practice group. Scott brings more than three decades of experience spanning private practice, in-house legal and business leadership, board service, and higher education. He has served in senior executive and board roles with public and private companies, including as executive vice president, chief legal officer, general counsel, and secretary of a publicly traded life sciences company. Scott's experience includes establishing and leading legal and compliance teams, serving on public and private company boards, leading the integration of a US$2.8 billion acquisition, and overseeing responsibilities across legal, compliance, government relations, corporate affairs, real estate, and facilities functions. He has also advised companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities matters, commercial contracting and licensing, and clinical and regulatory issues.
