The Fight Against Bribery and Corruption: Australia

Last year, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Working Group on Bribery published a report expressing concern that Australia’s enforcement of its foreign bribery laws has been “extremely low”. Murray Deakin discusses whether Australia has been making the most effective use of its regulatory resources in the fight against bribery and corruption and why anti-corruption regulation in Australia "needs more teeth".
