Flavio Picaro is an associate and a member of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice. He advises institutional, boutique and first-time private capital sponsors on the structuring, establishment, capitalisation, and operation of blind pool and deal-by-deal funds, co-investment vehicles, and separate accounts across all major alternative investment strategies, including on the strategic aspects of new manager establishments and raising a start-up fund. Flavio also counsels on joint venture and internal governance arrangements as well as carried interest, employee, and executive participation schemes.
His experience spans a wide array of structures and jurisdictions, including Luxembourg, Italy, the Channel Islands, the UK and the UAE (the ADGM and the DIFC).
Additionally, Flavio represents a range of institutional investors throughout the world, including SWFs, pension funds, FoFs, and other sophisticated participants in connection with their fund investment and co-investment programmes as well as seed investments in emerging fund sponsors.
