Geoffrey Delamarre

Geoffrey Delamarre is a counsel in the firm's Luxembourg office. He is a member of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice.

Geoffrey has extensive experience in private equity, mergers & acquisitions and corporate law. He regularly advises private equity and international corporate clients in relation to a wide range of domestic and international transactions with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and cross-border), joint ventures, reorganisations and the establishment and operation of Luxembourg investment platforms for alternative investment managers.

Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar, Geoffrey is a graduate of HEC Paris (Advanced Master in International Business Law and Management), the University of Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master 2 in Business Law), the University of Paris 2 - Panthéon-Assas (Master 1 in English Law) and the University College London (Certificate of English legal studies).

Prior to joining the firm, Geoffrey worked at a global law firm. Through this role, Geoffrey specialized in private equity and mergers & acquisitions with a particular focus on real estate acquisitions. He advised private equity and international corporate clients concerning the setting up of their complex acquisition structures as well as on the transactional aspects of investments and divestments, including in relation to financing, restructuring, management incentives, shareholders’ agreements and corporate governance.

Before that, Geoffrey worked for several international law firms and in a major global investment group both in Paris and Luxembourg.
