Isabella F. Sparhawk

Isabella Sparhawk is an associate in the firm’s Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice. Isabella represents clients in a wide range of employment litigation matters, including those involving race, age, and gender discrimination, harassment claims, and breach of contract.

Previously, Isabella served as a summer associate for the firm. Through this role, Isabella conducted legal research and drafted legal documents for various practice groups. In addition, she worked in-house for the legal department of a technology company, where she attended rulemaking hearings and worked on transactional and regulatory legal issues.

Isabella is especially interested in the role artificial intelligence (AI) plays in the employment space, relating to risks of discrimination and bias in hiring, and how AI will affect worker compensation and job security.

Isabella gained experience as a founding member at a start-up in Chicago that developed and sold healthy, allergy-friendly snacks. Her role involved leading and executing marketing strategies to increase sales and brand awareness, overseeing support teams for public relations and marketing, and designing the packaging for the product. The company was also selected to participate in a start-up incubator program with a large corporation, where she enhanced her business skills.
