K&L Gates Assists Bayerische Landesbank With Real Estate Refinancing for Vehicle Owned by Swiss Real Estate Investor
Global law firm K&L Gates has advised Bayerische Landesbank, a publicly regulated German bank, on a real estate refinancing for a vehicle owned by Artisa Group AG, an international group headquartered in Switzerland specializing in the development, investment, and management of high-profile real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and office complexes.
The refinancing involved a property located at Via Turati 32 in Milan, a premium asset in the heart of the city's financial and commercial district. Recently, the property was completely renovated and repositioned as a LEED Gold-certified building. It is currently fully leased to institutional tenants under long-term leases at market-rate, 100% indexed rents.
The Finance team was led by Milan partner Chiara Anceschi and counsel Giorgio Paludetti, with support from associate Sofia Stefani and trainee Elisa Massimetti. Partner Francesco Sanna and counsel Agnese Schinelli advised on real estate matters, while Asset Management and Investment Funds partner Eusapia Simone provided regulatory advice.
“We are pleased to have supported Bayerische Landesbank in this strategic refinancing transaction,” said Anceschi. “The successful repositioning and refinancing of this landmark property reflects the strength of Milan’s real estate market and the continued appetite for sustainable, high-quality assets in core European cities.”
