Prior to joining the firm, Matthew served as an attorney at an intellectual property law firm. His experience includes preparing and prosecuting patents for a variety of technologies and products, such as autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, Internet of Things devices, electrical components, graphical user interfaces, mobile applications, machine learning, telecommunication and wireless technologies, augmented, virtual, and mixed reality devices, computer networks, image processing, and e-commerce. Matthew also has experience prosecuting trademarks before the USPTO.
During law school, Matthew externed at an intellectual property law firm in London, UK; an international recreational vehicle company; and at the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, he worked for a consulting and professional services firm designing expert systems and managing software-related projects.
