Quantum computing and generative artificial intelligence (AI) have moved from research curiosities to tools capable of undermining today's encryption and producing convincing deepfakes, while cryptocurrency and decentralized finance have become parallel financial system regulators are only beginning to police.

Ignore post-quantum cryptography migration, and today's encryption becomes tomorrow's open door. Miss an anti-money laundering(AML)/CFT or Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctions obligation in a DeFi transaction, and a client faces federal enforcement under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Treat an AI system as just another vendor tool, and a business inherits unassessed cybersecurity and national-security exposure.

Attendees will leave with a framework for evaluating AI and quantum risk, a compliance checklist for digital-asset AML and sanctions exposure, and practical language for advising clients through federal policy and enforcement responses to emerging technology—work product no AI tool can generate on its own.
