Isabella F. Sparhawk

Isabella Sparhawk is an associate in the firm's Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice. Isabella represents clients in a wide range of employment litigation matters, including those involving race, age, and gender discrimination, harassment claims, and breach of contract.

Previously, Isabella served as a law clerk to the Honorable David C. Norton of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Isabella also worked as a summer associate for the firm, and in-house for the legal department of a technology company.

Isabella is especially interested in the role artificial intelligence (AI) plays in the employment space, relating to risks of discrimination and bias in hiring, and how AI will affect worker compensation and job security. Isabella collaborates with the AI Solutions Group to respond to the developing domestic and global regulation and impact of generative AI.

Isabella gained experience as a founding member at a start-up in Chicago that developed and sold healthy, allergy-friendly snacks. Her role involved leading and executing marketing strategies, and designing the packaging for the product.
