K.E. Love

K.E. Love is a partner in the Technology Transactions and Data Protection, Privacy, and Security practice group. She has extensive experience in the US and abroad on a wide array of legal and business areas, including technology services, operations, corporate strategy, technology and content licensing and development, marketing and advertising, sales and distribution, product development, supply chain management, product management, manufacturing, fleet operations, compliance, and privacy and security. She has represented clients in multiple cross-border transactions and global outsourcing for logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, and transportation. She has a strong background in global transactions, including Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Her clients include major technology, US telecommunications, consumer electronics, and international manufacturing companies.

K.E.’s clients span the software, hardware, telecommunications, internet, and other technology-focused sectors, with both US and international transactions. Her practice is focused on complex intellectual property, technology, and data related transactions and counseling, including the acquisition, development, marketing, licensing, and distribution of technology and intellectual property including mobile applications and computing devices, cloud-based software and other types of data management services, other types of technologies, music, gaming, and other media content. K.E. has deep experience with wireless telecommunications, network operators, data center operations, consumer devices, hardware supply and software development, infrastructure, technology licensing, procurement of enterprise systems, software and technology, immersive technologies, media and entertainment, artificial intelligence, and transportation.

Prior to joining the firm, K.E. served as associate general counsel for an international video game developer and publisher where she worked closely with and advised executives and senior leaders on operations, manufacturing, and distribution. In addition, K.E. has led legal affairs at a leading US telecommunications company, a global consumer electronics and manufacturing firm, and a national cable television operator.

In addition to her work at the firm, K.E. is committed to pro bono service, providing legal advice through The Veterans Consortium, representing veterans before the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and volunteering at legal clinics.

She is an active member of the firm’s Opportunity & Inclusion Committee and Chair of the Women in the Profession Committee for the Seattle office.

K.E. is also an active member of her community. She served on the Board of Directors of Education First - a national, nonprofit association that focuses on providing need-based college scholarships to students attending high schools with historically low percentages of college applicants - from 2006-2011.
