Lucas Nicolet-Serra is not resident in the Paris office.

Lucas Nicolet-Serra is a partner at the firm specialising in regulatory compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the life sciences and fintech sectors. He advises multinational corporations, financial investors, and fast-growth technology companies on complex cross-border matters spanning data protection, sector-specific regulatory and commercial strategies and Artificial Intelligence.

Beyond his core sectors, Lucas has extensive data privacy and cybersecurity experience serving clients in the energy, luxury, logistics, transportation and hospitality industries, advising on cross-border data flows, breach response, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualified in France, England and Wales, and registered to practice Singapore law, Lucas brings an international perspective and deep operational insight, having also previously completed in-house secondments with both a global pharmaceutical group and a US medical device company in ASEAN.

Lucas is a member of the SIAC Reserve Panel of Arbitrators at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and is recognised by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a Recommended Lawyer or Dispute Resolution in Singapore (2025–2026) and by Asian Legal Business as a 2024 Rising Star.

Lucas is a recognised adviser on artificial intelligence governance and regulation, helping organisations navigate the legal, regulatory and ethical considerations arising from the development, deployment and use of AI technologies. He advises clients on AI governance frameworks, AI regulatory compliance and the responsible implementation of AI systems across regulated sectors, including life sciences, fintech and digital health, with experience spanning Asia-Pacific and European regulatory regimes.

Within the firm, Lucas serves as the firm's AI liaison for Asia, supporting the responsible adoption and governance of AI tools across the region and advising on professional responsibility considerations, internal AI policies and client consent requirements. He is a frequent speaker on AI regulation and ethics, having presented at industry forums and conferences including LexisNexis AI, APACMed's AI Bootcamp, Pro Bono SG's AI for Access to Justice Roundtable, TechLaw.Fest and the French Chamber of Commerce's AI & Automation in Legal Practice Roundtables. He also regularly contributes thought leadership on emerging AI regulatory developments, including publications on the Monetary Authority of Singapore's AI Model Risk Management recommendations and evolving global AI governance frameworks, and has delivered lectures in collaboration with Assas University.
 

Prior to joining the firm, Lucas was a supervising associate at an international legal practice in Paris and Singapore.
