Mitchell Hutchinson is an associate and member of the International Arbitration and Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice groups. Mitchell advises clients on a broad range of contentious construction, infrastructure, energy and commercial disputes across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific and has more than six years of post-qualification experience acting for owners, contractors, energy companies, aerospace corporations, professional service firms and multinational corporations in arbitration, litigation, and regulatory proceedings.
Mitchell represents clients throughout the dispute lifecycle, from early-stage risk assessment and dispute avoidance through to arbitration, litigation, and settlement and has acted in disputes arising from major construction, infrastructure and energy projects under the ICC, UNCITRAL, ACICA, SCCA and ICSID rules. He has also acted for clients in significant and complex commercial disputes before the courts of Australia, England and Wales and Saudi Arabia, including professional negligence claims, insolvency-related proceedings, regulatory investigations, aviation disputes, and other high-value contractual claims.
