Mitchell Hutchinson is an associate and member of the Commercial Disputes practice group. Mitchell has more than five years of post-qualification experience representing clients in large-scale, often high-profile and reputational arbitration and litigation proceedings. His experience spans domestic and cross-border complex commercial disputes in the United Kingdom, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Africa, including arbitrations conducted under ACICA, UNCITRAL, and ICSID rules. Mitchell has a depth of knowledge across contentious construction, professional negligence, regulatory, investor state dispute settlement, and insolvency matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mitchell served as an associate at international law firm where he focused on infrastructure, construction, and energy dispute matters, advising construction and infrastructure contractors on their contractual and statutory entitlements under the CTL and GTPL against employers on major projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also prepared comprehensive written advice and strategy papers, delivered oral advice following extensive contract review and analysis, and authored articles on key legislative changes and the impact of the CTL and GTPL framework on common contractual issues. Earlier in his career, Mitchell led and assisted in disclosure, expert and lay evidence work streams, and managed associate handling while advising on numerous matters.
