Christopher W. Phillips-Hart

Christopher Phillips-Hart is admitted to practice in New York. He is not currently admitted in Massachusetts. 

Christopher Phillips-Hart is an associate and a member of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice. Chris’ practice focuses on advising sponsors of private funds and other alternative investment firms with respect to legal and regulatory issues associated with fund formation and ongoing operational matters. He has advised both institutional and boutique sponsors on fundraises in the US, Europe, and globally. His experience covers a broad range of asset classes including buyout funds, real estate funds, infrastructure funds, secondary funds, credit funds, and specialty finance funds. Chris has also assisted private fund sponsors with the establishment of their own upper tier arrangements, including seeding arrangements, GP stakes deals, joint venture relationships, and employee carry and co-investment schemes.

In addition, Chris’ practice includes advising institutional investors with respect to their investments in private funds with respect to both primary investments as well as co-investments, secondary investments, and investments in continuation vehicles.

Prior to joining the firm, Christopher served as an associate in the private funds practice of an international firm’s London and Washington, D.C., offices, where he focused his practice in private fund formation and investor-side representation in relation to investments in private funds.
