K&L Gates Advises AI Technology Company on Initial Public Offering

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP advised Ruanyun Edai Technology Inc., a leading artificial intelligence (AI) technology company focused on K-12 education in China, on its initial public offering of 3,750,000 ordinary shares at a public offering price of US$4.00 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately US$15 million. The ordinary shares commenced trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol “RYET.”

By leveraging proprietary AI-powered solutions, Ruanyun provides intelligent learning tools, assessment platforms, and adaptive learning systems that enhance academic performance and streamline educational processes. The net proceeds from the offering will be used for research and development of new products and services, marketing and customer services, new content creation, cash reserves, and working capital and general corporate purposes.

The K&L Gates team was led by Miami partner Clayton Parker, with assistance from Miami partner Erin Fogarty, Boston partner Hillary Pellerin O'Rourke, Miami associate David McDonald, and Boston associate Anastassia Korin.
