Marne Marotta

Marne Marotta is a partner and a member of the Public Policy and Law practice group, where she leads strategic advocacy efforts for clients across tech, trade, financial services, industrial policy, and large sporting events. She develops tailored legislative strategies, expertly guides clients through the intricacies of Capitol Hill, and ensures they are fully prepared for impactful congressional engagement.

Before joining the firm, Marne served as a staffer for Senators John Barrasso, Kelly Ayotte, and Scott Brown on a broad range of legislative and policy issues including banking, commerce, tax, trade, small business, and economic development. She played a key role in advancing major legislation, including the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act and the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act. She also secured the swift passage of a commemorative coin bill, which underscores her ability to navigate legislative processes with speed, precision, and results. 

Recognized for her leadership and impact in the field, Marne was named a Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics in both 2021 and 2024.

Prior to joining the firm, Marne was a managing director at an American multinational law firm. In addition, Marne worked for several US Senators, where she advised members on banking, energy, financial services, commerce, and trade issues. Marne has a deep understanding of how the Senate operates. Her previous congressional experience helps position clients strategically to advance their policy goals from bill introduction to program implementation.
