Matt Phillips is an associate in the firm's Boston office. He is a member of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice group. He focuses his practice on the formation, organization, and maintenance of various types of private investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, and venture capital funds. He also represents institutional investors in structuring, negotiating, and documenting their private market investments.
Matt also counsels investment advisers and broker-dealers on a wide variety of legal and regulatory matters, including on marketing and performance advertising, derivatives documentation, repurchase transactions and securities lending, and complying with global economic sanction programs.
