Giovanni Campi is policy director in the Brussels office. Giovanni has 15 years of experience assisting with advocacy strategy, policy analysis, and interest representation on various dossiers. His experience is particularly strong in financial services policy, internal market issues, and sustainability.
Giovanni is a member of the public policy and law group, and contributes to the work of various other practices, including, among others, financial services policy, tax, and regulatory.
He has vast experience organising and leading advocacy campaigns and engagement efforts with policymakers in Brussels and various European capitals.
Giovanni also serves as Europe director of the Trans-Atlantic Business Council, a trade association that advocates to promote and enhance transatlantic economic integration.
Prior to joining the firm, Giovanni, a non-lawyer, served as advocacy director at an association that advocates for global capital markets participants active in European markets.
Previously, he was a senior policy advisor at a Brussels-based trade body representing the interests of European Chambers of Commerce. Early in his career, Giovanni worked as an economist at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
