Aaron S. Rothman

Aaron Rothman is a partner in the firm's Finance practice. Mr. Rothman is a member of both the firm’s Banking and Asset Finance and Restructuring and Insolvency groups. Mr. Rothman advises clients throughout the entire life cycle of a transaction, from initial structuring and implementation to administration, work out, restructuring and exit. In the finance context, Mr. Rothman regularly works with clients in secured and unsecured commercial lending, corporate finance, private equity and mezzanine financing transactions for senior and junior lenders, and borrowers. His restructuring experience includes advising lenders, trade creditors, borrowers, sponsors, boards of directors and equityholders regarding in-court and out of court restructuring transactions, loan workouts, receiverships, recapitalizations, bankruptcy, assignments for the benefit of creditors, UCC foreclosure sales, 363 sales, negotiated settlements and enforcement of contractual remedies. He also works closely with the firm’s Corporate, Tax and other transactional practices regarding structuring complex transactions and capital structures, special situations and troubled assets. 

He has experience in a number of industries, including, among others, retail, hospitality, healthcare, cryptocurrency, telecommunications, defense, and oil and gas.

Prior to joining the firm, Aaron was an associate in the bankruptcy and restructuring group of an international law firm in New York.
