Agnese Schinelli

Agnese Schinelli is a counsel in the firm’s Energy Infrastructure and Resources and Policy and Regulatory practices. Agnese has a broad understanding of the energy and manufacturing industries, from oil and gas and renewables to power and glass manufacturing, gained both during long-standing transactional work and relevant in-house experience in prominent energy companies. She advises global companies in complex energy transition and real estate development projects, including the establishment and negotiation of their M&A and commercial contractual structure.

Agnese is a dual qualified lawyer with substantial experience in complex cross-border transactions earned in New York (USA) and Milan (Italy), with a specific focus to the expansion of Italian companies in the United States and of US companies in Italy. She is passionately dedicated to helping Italian companies fostering their commercial ties with the US, being well recognized for her policy and advocacy work within the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy and for her strong connections with US international trade institutions.

She also assists various multinational and start-up companies in complex EU regulatory and compliance matters involving cross-border legal issues, including international data flow and EU-USA data transfer.

Prior to joining the firm, Agnese has worked in the New York office of a primary international law firm assisting Italian and European clients in establishing their business activities in the United States, representing them in cross-border M&A and real estate transactions, as well as in providing legal assistance in general corporate and corporate governance matters.

Agnese has also worked in the corporate and commercial department of an Italian boutique law firm in Milan, focusing her practice on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and commercial contracts. Agnese has assisted global companies in the field of medical devices and biotechnologies in complex regulatory and compliance issues.
