Matthew J. Rogers

Matthew Rogers is of counsel in the firm's Asset Management and Investment Funds group. Matt regularly advises asset managers and investment funds on securities and commodities laws, including regulatory matters involving the SEC, CFTC, and NFA. 

Matt’s practice includes guiding clients on the requirements and exemptions pertaining to commodity pool operators and commodity trading advisors. Matt’s experience also includes negotiating various trading agreements. 

Matt assists clients with regulatory examinations, obtaining regulatory relief, and developing compliance and risk management policies and procedures. He counsels clients on issues regarding the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) by aiding established and emerging companies in navigating this changing legal, regulatory, and commercial landscape.

Matt worked as a summer associate at K&L Gates in 2013.
